Our Roots
Hello, my name is Nancy and I am the founder of Little Neptune's Home ChiId Care, located in Chicago, Humboldt Park! I wanted to start something small so I can create a cozy environment, somewhere I am able to give a more one-on-one with the children. I understand each child is unique, they grow and learn differently so I want to create an environment where children feel comfortable and can learn at their own pace. Providing a home away from home. Encouraging their curiosity, their eagerness to learn all while having fun.

Learning Through Play
Circle time is a must at Little Neptune's Childcare! Circle time is where we read books, sing songs, talk about the weather, letters, numbers and the theme of the week. Along with circle time, we have art activities, sensory projects, and special activities related to the theme. We practice Spanish, Sign Language, and Yoga every day. Different activities are done throughout the day that will stimulate and help their cognitive, fine motor, gross motor, social-emotional, sensory, and literary skills. Through our creative activities children reach their milestones naturally and with ease.
Outdoor Play & Activities
Exploring Our Surroundings
Little Neptune's Childcare strongly believes children learn through indoor experiences as well as with outdoors. We take advantage of our surroundings and love exploring the city all while safety being a top priority. Along with our daily walks, we like to visit the park, visit the zoo, visit our wonderful city museums and participate in local neighborhood activities.
Our Additional Services
What We Provide
Little Neptune's Childcare provides all the food. This is breakfast, lunch, and snack. It includes solid food, purées, formula, baby oatmeal, puffs, milk, and water. All food is organic and made fresh everyday.
Pick-up and Drops-offs made by Little Neptune's Childcare are available with no extra charge and are available everyday if you choose.
The app we use for updates is Brightwheel. The updates are about your child's day. It is diaper changes, potty times, meals, nap times, and daily pictures.
Cameras are installed indoors and outdoors for our safety.
Little Neptune's Childcare is open Monday through Friday from 8AM-6PM.

At Little Neptune’s Childcare, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Childcare offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. A child's caregiver along with their parents are some of the few people the child sees consistently so not only do I want to be involved, listen, respond appropriately, and respectfully to each child. I also want to create a comfortable environment for the parents. I want them to feel safe when they're leaving their child with me. I hope I can provide this and more for you and your family!
